The meeting of Rome will start from the "Declaration on generative AI" adopted during the G7 privacy Japan in june 2023. In the document, Privacy and data protection Authorities committed to assuring AI generative development according shared ethic and legal principles. Given the unlimited possibilities open to AI applications, in a world where the difference between personal data and not personal data is more and more fading, their protection cannot be overlooked.

Data Free Flow with Trust - DFFT

The G7 Privacy in Rome sets the ambitious goal of discussing the recommendations, rules and good practices identified and shared with the 7 Authorities on each of the four topics included in the agenda of the G7 Privacy Italy 2024, with the G7 Governments and other international fora such as the Council of Europe, the OECD and the Global Privacy Assembly.
