The G7 Privacy logo was designed starting from the three elements that the Italian DPA has decided to highlight in his visual form: enhancing the Italian DPA’s role as the event organiser; recognising the equal role of the 7 DPAs which will take part in it; providing an immediate focus on the essential information of the event.

Lettering design

The design of the G7 logotype features the same style and font of the institutional logo of the Italian DPA. The lettering and pictogram, blended together in a single visual identity free of additional symbols and emblems, highlight the DPA and make it recognisable.

The double meaning of the ‘G’ (standing for G7 and ‘Garante’ – Italian word for DPA) makes the logo very identifiable. It shows the features of a pictogram while also representing, in this new logo proposal, the G of G7 and of the Italian DPA. Additional information on the event were added to the logo: “7”– for the countries protagonists of the event “privacy” – the Summit’s topic, “Italia”–the hosting and organising country, “2024”- the year when everything happens.”

Visual Identity

The colours of the Italian DPA’s institutional logo (blue and yellow) are kept but complemented with green and red of the Italian flag “Italy and 2024”.
